What is a QR Code?

A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that is read by a camera phone.

What do QR codes do?

When scanned, the information encoded can be text, contact information, a URL, a phone number or other data.

What's the point of a QR code?

A QR code is a quick way for people to access information by skipping steps.  It's kind of like a bookmark or a shortcut on your desktop. Instead of having to type in a URL, contact information to address book, etc., a QR code is "quick"!

What do I use to scan a QR code?

Use your smartphone to download a FREE QR code reader application. Either search your app store or go to m.clikbrix.com on your cell phone and click "Get a QR Code Reader." Remember, this app is free!!

How do I scan a QR code?

Point your camera phone at the QR code and snap a picture. The QR code will decode instantly. You will then be taken to a destination set in the code (text, a website, contact info, etc.)
