Have you been keeping your OSHA reporting up to date this year? It’s already August, which means there are only six months until all OSHA 300 logs need to be completed and posted at your workplace.

Reminder on what needs to be reported:

  • any work-related fatalities
  • injuries or illnesses that resulted in occupational hearing loss
  • loss of consciousness
  • days off of work
  • restricted work
  • work transfer
  • medical treatment

Minor injuries/illnesses that only require first aid treatment (e.g., bandage, ice pack, nonprescription medication at nonprescription strength) do not need to be recorded.

Reminder to Neckerman customers:

You have access to a free service called MyWave. With this, we're provided you a fast and convenient way to input and update OSHA recordable incidents. MyWave contains user-friendly technology that allows you to create the OSHA Form 300, OSHA Form 300A, and the OSHA Form 301. Additionally, you'll be able to identify problem areas and spot trends by doing a statistical analysis of the information contained in the required OSHA forms.
