| Randy is a life-long resident of Wisconsin. He was born and raised in Slinger, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
with a B.A. in Political Science and minor in Public Administration. After deciding not to join the U.S. Marshall Service, he went to work as a career life agent for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He then joined The Neckerman Agency in 1990 as a property & casualty agent. His father-in-law, Jerry Anderson, and Jerry’s brother, Richard Anderson, are past Presidents of the agency. Jerry and Richard were instrumental in mentoring Randy in the business. In 2001, Randy became one of the agency’s five principals. Randy has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation which represents a dedication to continuing education. He served as the Chairman of the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin Education and Development Committee for 4 years. In addition, he was a member of the Middleton Sunrise Rotary Club for 12 years. He is currently serving on the board of directors for the Middleton Chamber of Commerce and is active on the Economic Development and Golf Committees. Randy met his wife, Suzy, while in college at UW-Oshkosh. They each served on different committees of the University’s Union board. They were married in 1989 and have three children. Suzy is a fifth grade school teacher and team teaches and volunteers at their children’s schools. Randy’s outside interests include volleyball, golf, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, biking, fishing and boating. He is also a big UW Badger sports fan and attends many of their football and basketball games. In the summer, Randy and his family spend most of their free time at Lake Wisconsin. |
