| Doug’s insurance career began as an underwriter with American Family Insurance in Madison, Wisconsin. He then joined The Neckerman Agency in 1983. Doug has been very involved with the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin (IIAW) and was presented with it’s Young Insurance Agent of the Year award for his efforts and commitment to the organization. He later received the local chapter’s Insurance Person of the Year award. Doug has served on the State of Wisconsin Insurance Commisioner’s Advisory Board for Property and Casualty Insurance. He is active with many local boards and is currently serving as Past Chair of the YMCA of Dane County. He also sits on the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Board, the Madison Downtown Rotary Board of Directors and the Edgewood High School Endowment Board. He and his wife, Kathy, have three daughters. |
